An ecologically grounded Montessori school for grades 1–12, serving families across Hays, Caldwell, and Guadalupe Counties.

Anticipated Fall 2027.

Guided by adults, children will engage in market gardening, and adolescents will help steward a working farm or ranch, sharing its products with the local community.

School should connect students to nature.

Day trips, camping trips, and visits with experts and community leaders integrate into a robust academic curriculum.

Seasonal meals and celebrations, rites of passage, and traditions of care for land and the creatures on it connect school to agriculture and culture.

It actually does take a village to raise a child.

We’re building a community of involved and caring families committed to whole-child development.

We will provide continuing education sessions for caregivers about current research related to child and adolescent development

We will host important conversations with parents and caregivers exploring community norms around our common challenges.

We’re planning a rich academic experience that minimizes grades and other extrinsic reasons for learning, and allows students to develop at their own pace.

The reasons students learn matter.

We’re preparing beautiful and orderly indoor / outdoor Montessori environments to be managed by trained Montessori guides.

We believe in screen-free learning for children, and thoughtful technology use policies. We prefer hands-on and analog learning.
